My name is Yibing Jiang.I’m a filmmaker, artist, and engineer — a blend of creativity and technology.
I’m a Chinese girl who came to the U.S. to chase my animation dream. Back in China, I studied engineering and earned a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence. But now, I’m a writer/director of the animated short Windup and have been working as an artist in the film and game industry for 15 years.
Windup has been qualitfied for 93rd Academy Awards The Best Animated Short, and it has been officially selected into 22 major film festivals, in which 11 of them are Oscar-qualifying festivals.
